It's the season of Christmas. Snow is falling at an increasing rate, family is here, presents are wrapped, school is out.... ahhh, bliss. To give an update since my last post, which was intended to be posted the first week of december (oops!), here are some photos and stories to catch up.
I took these photos on Thanksgiving morning--both indoor and outdoor. Tim thinks the photos of the food are pretty funny since everything is normal size and then this HUGE bowl of mashed potatoes! It sure was good, though!
Last week Tim and I made a gingerbread house. My sister and her husband have a tradition where they make one in December and burn it at their first barbecue of the summer. Since we are moving in January, we didn't want to take it with us, so we are going to burn it on New Year's Eve. Tim is such a pyro!!
My younger brother, Paul, came to Utah last week to ski/snowboard and see family for Christmas because he couldn't come with my family this week since he couldn't get Christmas off. It was so fun to see and hang out with him and Jordan. Friday night, Paul, Kyle, Jordan and some more friends came over to our house for hot chocolate after sledding at the nearby park. It was really fun hanging out with them, but it sure did get crowded in the front room!
Saturday was really fun. Tammy and her kids came to town from Idaho to spend some time with Paul before he left on Sunday so we all went to the Nickelcade in Orem. The kids loved it! Cade loved any game with a gun and the animals that you can ride. Rylee was really good at the Spider Stomp game. We won over 200 tickets to give to Rylee and she helped pick out a treat for everyone.

That food looked good! Did you guys stay at home for Thanksgiving? Was that food even for Thanksgiving? Is Kyle at BYU? How fun to have family come and visit, and to have school off. Where are you guys moving to? Closer to work, and a little bit bigger?
Looks like you are having a great time during the break. I hope you guys had a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy your time off. It is great and sleeping in is awesome!
