Thankful-ness

Over the weekend, Tim and I went to Idaho. While we were there, I started reading a book for pleasure for the first time in years! It's really inspiring and creative. I also got really excited to start my student teaching. I was so full of ideas for student teaching that I couldn't even fall asleep one night! I also made sweet potatoes for the first time ever, too. Here is a mouth-watering sampler of all the Thanksgiving delicacies!

Tim is taking the picture, and the curl puff in the bottom left corner belongs to yours truly! The mountain man beard belongs to Tim's older brother, Ben, and his wife, Paty, is sitting next to him.

In the true spirit of Thanksgiving, here are a few things I'm grateful for:
*my hubby-hub Tim, who I've been married to for--get this--almost 11 months!
*a loving family (parents and siblings by birth and by marriage included)
*no snow yet!
*the numbness to burnout from being in school for three years non-stop
*creativity and inspiration
*the numerous blessings that I often overlook as mere acts of life and not gifts from God
*And, last but not least, the wonderful freedom that comes in April!
